Our family will always remember Mickey when we place the "Ruby Slipper" and OZ ornaments he signed for us on our Christmas tree each year. And also each time our three generations of fans watch the movie.

We had the privilege of having breakfast and dinner at the Jacksonville Oz festival. He was a great personality and will be missed by his many fans.

My family and I met Mickey in Jupiter, FL during Spring Training for his (and our) favorite team - the St. Louis Cardinals.

Mickey was a class act...everybody's friend. He lived a great life, he was a wonderful man and he surely will be missed.

I met Mickey in November of 2008 and enjoyed his stories of the making of the Wizard of Oz and his time in the military and in vaudeville. He gave me an autographed picture and talked about his star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. He was a local treasure and a good man. Rest in peace Mickey
